Building Strength from Within
The Willow Project, Inc. is based on the notion that the strongest among us
are not the most rigid, but
the most resilient – and that resiliency comes from having strong roots
and an ability to face adversity without breaking down.
Our initial community outreach project is designed to help children, adolescents
and young adults develop inner strength. Volunteer life coaches will provide
one-on-one support in the areas of:
- relationship-building
- psycho-education
- positive self talk
- values
- cooperation
- standing up to peer pressure
- bullying
- self-reflection and control
- positive peer
groups
- learning to set and achieve goals
- leadership
- loyalty and committment
- giving back to your
community
In addition, program participants will enjoy group social events to interact
and build community networks with other children and families facing similar
life struggles.

About The Willow Project,
Inc. Founders
It is from within where we truly learn who we
are and what we are capable of achieving in
our lifetime. Our families and friendships
provide the foundation and support to nurture
the confidence we need in order to take chances
necessary toward acheiving our goals.
Cathy R. Harris and Cortney C. Jones came together
with a vision, creating an outlet for
children and adolescents in their community.
The Willow Project, Inc. provides opportunities
to empower children to build a better life
with
the necessary
tools
to tackle any adversity or negativity that may
prohibit their path to success.
Both Cathy and Cortney share the passion of
enriching the lives of children and families,
with the goal that each individual reaches
their full potential and achieves their goals
and dreams.
